Manufacturing Innovation

As Kansas companies look for ways to grow, innovation in products and processes has to be part of the conversation. Important connections are being made between industry, education and federal partners.  The idea is that these collaborations will cultivate promising discoveries and ideas into new technologies and into cost-effective ways to convert these innovations into American-made products sold to customers around the world.

An article originally published on the Commerce Blog goes into a great deal of depth regarding partnerships, innovation and connectors.  I encourage you to check it out.  The key take away for the article is that "existing and future innovation institutes will comprise an integrated, nationwide network that coordinates and leverages their individual and collective strengths. This ecosystem will create the sorely missing collaborative infrastructure and the necessary mass of intellectual might and technology resources needed for our nation to succeed in innovating, producing, competing, and building future prosperity."

At MAMTC, part of my role is to identify potential partners to build an effective network.  If you'd like to learn more about how you or your organization might fit into this arena please give me a call
