Hope is not a good business strategy

On February 7th, Dr. Monica Stewart, KMS's Director of Strategy and Solutions, presented information about a strategic planning solution called Agile.

To stay competitive, manufacturers must embrace flexibility and responsiveness in their operations, enabling them to adapt swiftly to market shifts, optimize production processes, and efficiently manage supply chains. To do that, they need a strategic roadmap that can be agile as well.

A brief highlight of Monica's presentation:

• Monica talked about Agile's 3 stages: Discovery, Analysis, and Planning and Prioritization
• A list of considerations to be included in a strategic planning development process was presented
• A review of the benefits of a comprehensive, adaptable strategic plan, which included the reduction of personal stress by having a path to successful business performance

Something to consider is how you and your organization could benefit from a flexible strategic plan. Another thing to consider is what not having an agile strategic plan could mean to your organization.
